Blame the trolls.
Oh dear, I just popped into Sainsburys to get some bread and milk and walked out with a Sony Bravia 32 inch HD TV !!
I have some explaining to do....
Blame the trolls.
Sounds quite reasonable to me.
Oh you haven't i saw that in my local sainsubury's thought it was quite a bargain for sainsbury's anyway..
i'm sure you'll be fine
A) How much it was
B) Did you remember to get the Bread and Milk!
Got the bread and milk, + sort of made amends with the purchase by reminding the boss of all the nector points I have collected !!
Plus it was actually cheaper than advertised because of the extra VAT knocked off.
Just finished setting it up - much better picture than my old LCD - just need to check my upscaling on my DVD player and order the HD cables for the Wii......
Popped into Novatech yesterday to pick up some blank printable CD-Rs ...
Came out with a Printable DVDs too ... oh and a 22" HD TV / Monitor, a 1Tb USB drive and a USB hub (the last two are for my wife ... so not too bad!)
I might just happen to walk out of town tomorrow with an iPhone. I don't have anybody to explain myself too though. I've got all that to look forward to.
The DVD up scaling is rather good I have to say on it - also been playing DivX content and Xvid from a memory stick and the quality is much better - considering I paid £800 about 2 and a half years ago for a LCD and this one cost £350 I can see prices falling even more this year which may mean having one in each bedroom.......& office....& downstairs lav.
I'm gutted. On xmas day i saw a 32" samsung LCD on the currys website for under £300...couldnt decided whether or not to go for it. Just looked at it again, over £350 now...poo...
I got one of the Sony Bravia from Sainsburys and the picture quality is exellent, even appears to make VM look better.
Just ordered a Sony DAVDZ260 to go with it
I didn't even bother with Milk and bread
The Wii looks much better over component than it does over composite, I can't remember does it come with an RGB scart connection?
It must be that time of year I popped into town on the bus to try out a new Bass amp assuring my better half I would sell my old one before buying it..........
I gave into temptation, encouraged by the fact it was much cheaper there than anywhere on the web, and bought it........ And then had to get the car and drive back into town to pick it up!
I have a nice Peavey amp and cab for sale if anyone's interested!
