You'll need to dip into the 'training budget' and stop all the teachers going on 2 day courses at £400 a day so they can get out of teaching
Or is that just here
How did you do that? I take it your predecessor didn't budget correctly?

I've just checked my balance and I have £15k still to spend from our Consumables, maintenance and Harnessing Technology pots and this has to be spent by the end of February.
I pay no attention to budgets, the school either needs it or it doesn't, and if it needs it they always find the money from somewhere! Mind you, that's one of the big advantages of working in an academy school, there's a lot of cash floating around. I've got as much money to spend at this school as I had at my last school, but my last school had 3x the number of students.

There is that. Science (we're a Science College) can always be tapped for some extra fundsthey always find the money from somewhere! Mind you, that's one of the big advantages of working in an academy school, there's a lot of cash floating around.
Yeah, we get £10k for our school too.
1200 students and 200 staff, 8 full (22-25 PCs) and 2 half full (9-10 PCs) IT suites to support.
