Don't you just know its Christmas! Been asked is it possible to connect a Wii up to a Whiteboard and projector but as I don't own one not sure about what connections are available or possible. I know the standard connection is via scart to TV (or composite RGB) but can I connect it to a whiteboard wall connection that has audio and video phono connections and some SVGA connection as well as the usual VGA. Sure I must be able to as seen it being used with projectors in Shopping centre demo's etc.

yup, there should be no problems. Our one at home as the 3 seperate leads, so it should just plug into the video/audio inputs on the connections box.

Do you just mean a projector, you won't be able to connect a USB whiteboard up to your Wii (but see here for how to turn your Wiimote into a whiteboard!).
We have some Wiis permanently hooked up to our projectors. Most projector connector boxes will take a variety of connections these days, generally two VGA, video and s-Video, so you can leave everything plugged in and just switch the projector between inputs. If you have a separate amplifier with speakers (which most people do, the speakers built-in to projectors are normally pretty weedy), then a twin-phono-to-stereo converter cable comes in handy to plug the sound from the Wii into a stereo input port. Might also want a two-way stereo splitter cable if you only have one stereo input that's taken up by a computer.

18th December 2008, 11:13 AM #9 we used to hold a youth club where a Wii, Xbox 360 and DVD player were all linked up to a HD projector at the same time.
Expensive youth club if you ask me.

It's our baby..heh. Officially, it's to demonstrate sensors and control. Unofficially, it's to de-stress. I did the "use the wiimote as a mouse" thing with my home one...good fun.
