    Chris Hoy

Good to see Chris winning the BBC sports personality of the year award. Makes a change for someone who actually deserves it to get it.

Yeah - glad Chris Hoy won it. That's who I voted for. Other than that I would have chosen Lewis or Ben.

I'm a bit biased but about time cycling got recognition for the rapid progression it has made over the last 10 years, from being happy to get in the finals to being dissapointed not to get the golds they expect now. Not bad haul last noght as well, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year and Personallity of the Year.

Nah!! too direct and have old traditional values which seem to upset rather than appease,
but still think it is a good idea though!

Then start getting your nominations in. Then a panel of 30 expert geeks will whittle them down to 10, and then you, the viewer, gets to choose who is geek of the year.
