It took me three goes, so don't worry! All the best for 13:33. The DVLA seem to issue really odd start times don't they?

Dont worry about it too much (i know thats easier said than done). The examiner is only human after all; just because they failed you dont mean you cant drive. I failed for speeding, i was doing 35 in a 40 - work that one out!

You've probably already been told but; you dont start to learn how to drive until you've passed your test. Do as you've been taught and you should be fine. The test i passed on i thought i was appauling, infact i know i was, but i still passed, so if you make a mistake just carry on!

    Best of luck!

How much do they charge you now? I paid £50 in May, I think, but I bet it's about £60 now?

Good luck, I passed second time around but only five years ago, late starter, I'm 40 now.
On my test I passed I made a mistake and said sorry I know I shouldn't have done that, the examiner passed me and I think partly it was because I aknowledged the mistake.
But you won't make any mistakes, will cruise through nicely and do really well.
    Think positive
    cheers

Haven't got the guts to take mine... Love riding a motorbike and living in a city where traffic barely moves I can't see the point... well that's my excuse!

Passed the theory a couple of months ago but can't bare the idea of failing - even once...

    Good luck!

Just try not to panic. If you make a mistake no matter how big, keep driving and forget about it. All the best!

I paid around £65 for the test this September, £40 to hire my instructors car for two hours and lost £80 because I had to take a day off work to take the test. Good job I passed or I would have been livid!

Two days before the test the DSA rang me and asked if they could put my test an hour back to 2:30. Then, on the morning of the test (phoned me at 8am) they then asked/told me that the test would have to be at 3:30! Right at the school run! Cheeky buggers.

Good luck. I shan't tell you the number of times I failed & honest most were for the studipest things out of my control. The final time was when I had decided to do it or quit. Relaxed, just forgot it was a test and passed with praise from the examiner. So just pretend it is a normal driving lesson & all will be fine.

@gwenes: Most people I have spoken to have said that after driving a bike the car test was easy! Go for it.

It was about £56 when I booked - but then its a further £40 for the instructor too - 2 hours - 1hour lesson before and for the hire of the car for the test..

Just take note of the road conditions and drive accordingly especially today if it's wintery in your area.
