    Did anyone see The Thirties in Colour ?

    Was watching this on BBC4 last night - amazing clear crisp colour footage of the 30's in colour - the stories around the short films clips were also very good.

    Looking for the other episodes now so I can stick them on our media player as our year 6's do some 1930's stuff.......
    Found a few torrents with the other eps on, shame no one is seeding !!! AAAGGGHHHH...

    Did you see the earlier ones - 1920s, WW1, Edwardians etc - fascinating - never realised colour was around so early.

    I have the WW1 in colour, I think that was footage treated with the black and white film to colourised [ or what ever ] they call it.
    I loved the footage of the Sopwith Camels on the boats.....

    I saw most of them when they were first on - fascinating. Always amazing to see footage from periods that most of us have only seen in B+W before
