Answers on a postcard - just been passed 99 16meg SD Cards - anyone got some pratical uses before I start sticking them in Xmas crackers ?
Buy a number of card readers and usb hubs. You can then create a RAID across them. Thats almost 160meg storage just there. Maybe closer to 120meg at RAID-50.
Ignore my maths. Multiplied by 10 not 100, whoops. 1.6Gb and 1.2Gb are probably closer!

Play around. See if you can use them as smartcards by dropping a certificate onto them then trying to use them as such. Might actually be useful eventually as well if you want to tighten up security on teachers remotely logging in.
Stick together in a random pile with glue then send to the Tate Modern art gallery.
If you glue them together end on end you could use them as a back scratcher.
Or if you've got a very steady hand use the first 52 to make a diddy set of playing cards.
My first thought was 'domino rally', but after checking the SD card in my camera it seems you can't stand them on end.
Maybe yours have edges that are square enough?
Make an interesting new sign for your office with them?
I may stick some on my face tomorrow and then take a picture and post it as my new avatar....
Let me sell (well OK give) you another to make it a round 20? I tried to use it last week, but could only get a few seconds of uncompressed sound on it. Bought a 4Gb for about £10.
Apply glitter, attach to string and hang from Christmas tree?
Wedges for wobbly tables?
