Free AV Software

Hi all.

Have just downloaded Comodo Firewall software and AVG AV software. I have jsut installed Comodo and seen that it offers free AV too. Any thoughts on this? What are the recommendations on these two - should I install Comodo Firewall and AV or just go with Comodo Firewall and install AVG?

I tried the Comodo AV on a few laptops which were being repeatedly infected by staff with dodgy USB sticks while waiting for our NOD32 contract. Apart from slowing things down horribly, it had a detection rate of 0% across all of them of any problems. Waste of time in my book!

(YMMV IMHO IANAL my opinions are entirely my own etc etc)

BTW - only Comodo is free for use within a business, AVG is home use only (you probably know that, but just in case you're about to roll the free version across the school!)
