    Yes its true, I'm as astonished and amazed as you all are, but incredibly (after what I thought was a quite poor effort at an interview day by me) its turned out that another school has decided that I am the right (or should that be the lesser of the candidate evils) person for their job.

    Now I am hoping that I am good enough to actually pull off this new job, the technical task given during the day really hit my confidence at the time as I suddenly thought that I didnt know as much as I should do and at that point I was certain the position was going to an internal candidate. Somehow I turned it around, or maybe it was that wedge of £50 notes I passed across the interview table

    Thanks all, just nervous now about whether I can do this job or not. Its kind of a step up in terms of technical knowledge, so might have to spend christmas swotting up if I am going to be able to do it properly
