What to do when your not busy
Weirdly I am sat here with no problems to fix, no passwords to reset or homework to restore. Research is starting to get a bit glum and I'm heading towards checking out my favorite bands on Wikipedia.
What sort of things do you do when everything is completed?

Check those backups
check those windows updates
check those virus definitions
check those it labs
check check check lots of things to check!

I read on here looking for new developements. Look around for free software and deploy it. I look at problems i have had and how to fix them, and i look at problem i may soon have and see how to fix them before they happen.

Hunt who has doughnuts/cake/biscuits in on and fix something in their room
Use the time to pick up HUMINT (normally form pastoral or reception)
Catch up on documentation
Relish the moment

I always have some long-term projects on the go for slow days. Today, for example, developing my machine data-collection app.

Current fill in a few mins type job is bodging the swively chairs so they can't be wound down so far the teachers can't see the bggrs over the screens.
A couple of holes, and a long bolt through the stem.

Great pics. Reminds me of the view from the plane when I was returning from hols back in August (seems sooo long ago now ).
Back to the OP - erm, post here! These pages keep me sane during the quite moments. usually between 15:30 - 16:00 while I wait for the right time to sneak out, hoping nobody'll find me with a small job that needs doing now!
