29th November 2008, 10:42 AM #1 New Job!
Well, I have just got a new job - Jiser is moving on and I have been lucky enough to get his old job....15 hours a week at a local junior school. This means I can finally leave my first school job.
Of course, the very same week, my middle school job offered me 5 hours more, so in one fell swoop I will be going from 16 hours a week (reduced from 21 a few months ago) to 30 hours a week.
Don't know how it is all going to work out - but I am looking forward to the challenge! The main difference is that the new school has no managed system, which means no tech support line. (I don't use it often but it is nice to know it is there.)
So I might be on here a bit more often, screaming 'HELP!!!

29th November 2008, 10:50 AM #3 Congratulations on your new job and getting more hours on the other one, I assume that the first school job is the one that would not give you more hours? If so congratulations on your escape

29th November 2008, 10:08 PM #15 Congrats Witch. Do you reckon this lot will pay for you to pop up to BETT? A real need if there is no direct support line ... you need to come to BETT to make sure you are on top of things of course ;-)
No need to tell them that you have your own personal support line ... it is called EduGeek !!!
