This really isn't important so I thought I should post this thread in here rather than the Mac one, really like to know out of curiosity more than anything.
Whilst taking things apart next to my Imac G5 intel blah blah this year's model, I found that a screw was stuck to the black surface around the edge of the screen.
I then experimented moving the screw all the way round the screen and found there were about 14 different magnetic spots round the screen.
What are these for? I thought maybe a anti glare screen that just stuck to the front or is he glass panel in front of the LCD stuff on with magnets?
As I said, not important but REALLY like to know.

28th November 2008, 03:09 PM #8 The latest gen ones don't have that feature any more.
Only the white 1st gen and 2nd/3rd gen ones do. (ie. the white ones).
