Default Becta Interactive Whiteboard Guidelines

Does anybody have an electronic copy or link to the BECTA guidelines for the safe use of an Interactive Whiteboard.

I remember seeing them, in the boxes when we have had our IWB's installed, but never thought about keeping them.

I am just going through our LA H&S docs and it is a recommendation that a copy is situated next to each IWB install.

Has everybody else followed this procedure? I doubt the staff will read it, but I guess its a case of making the staff aware of the dangers of looking directly into the projector etc.

Thanks

Is this what you are after. Becta Schools - Leadership and Management - Health and safety - Projector health and safety issues

Personally I recommended that all our staff have an induction on the safe use of boards. However instead these details are in the staff handbook along with other IT stuff that nobody reads !!!!

Thanks I seen that, but I thought I could maybes get it in the poster form. I suppose their is no harm in me knocking up my own poster with those guidelines.

I have also found the attached, if anybody is interested.
