No wonder magpies get a bad name for themselves

I stood and watched a magpie fly to the ground with something rather large in its mouth. It proceeded to put the object from its mouth to the grass. It then started to look round for leaves and once found, placed them over 'the object'. This object looked like a big stick. It continued to 'hide' the 'big stick' with leaves and then flew off.

Curiosity got the better of me so off i went to investigate what the object was.

It was a big piece of dog poo!!!!!

Amazing!! will someone please tell me that that magpie didn't hide it to eat at a later date. I would much prefer the idea that the magpie deliberately placed it there to see if a child would step in it.

    Urghhhhh!!!!

And while you were investigating the "big stick" the magpie got into the server room and made off with countless shiny objects!
