Default Mass CD Copy Service?!?!

Hi there

I've been lumped with in excess of 50 CD's, and I've been asked to copy them all.

Basically I'm not prepared to lose a day (and gain all the hassle from staff I'll get with it) to sit in front of my machine and copy CD's for an entire day.

Does anyone know of any services I can send off this wad of CD's and get them copied en masse?

I don't mind if the cost isn't too much - it's just with the run up to christmas, I don't have time to spare.

Thanks

We paid about £400 for a tower which has a 500g hard drive, and 8 dvd writer drives, you put the master in the top and 7 blank media (up to blue ray) in the other 7 and it will copy the master 7 times, the hard drive also saves the image so you can later make copies without the master. Its great for mass copying office for our staff agreement.

If your interested ill look up the box name and who we bought it from tommorow.

Our CD duplicator packed in the other month and I am looking for a new one, so the name would be useful.

Thanks kmount for the other link.

I have one I built up myself from bits from SVP, great bit of kit, think ACard made the controller for it and its been very reliable, got Pioneer DVD Writers in it and its a good product.

CD and DVD Printing UK. Direct to disc. will do this, seems costs depend upon what you want, CD Packages

One of the support staff asked me to buy and copy 250 CDs and with labels and cases, I told them to off, they then decided that the £350 or whatever it would cost (through the above) was far too much money as compared to the £60 if they did it themselves. The local CLC has an 8way and a 15way duplicator...

We used these guys Commercial Filmwork for the 400+ DVDs we needed copying. I suppose they do CDs as well.

We have a 1/8 Duplicator in our office, which we use to make large amount of disc's. although we aint used it like we thought we would since we had it.

But something i would say consider!.. but buying one of them isn't going to solve the "not having enough time issue" :P

As for companies that do it for you, i havent used any so couldnt recommend companies for you.. a quick google search provides you with a few companys maybe give one of them a call

James.

We've got one of these, it's great - does up to 100 discs, just set it going and come back later. We send out all our brochures and prospectus' on CD now so gets quite a lot of use!

For those suggesting he should buy a duplicator - its 50 CDs - FIFTY!
Hardly worth the money for that volume is it

Until he's asked for another 50, or the 50 after that.

We too aired on the side of caution until it became a frequent request from all departments for "revision materials" just before Exam season.

Fair enough, only get asked to do it once a year pretty much and thats a DVD of a school trip. Doesnt take long to knock out 50 copies manually while you're working

In fact, re-reading his first post, sounds like 50 different discs he needs copies of? Not 50 duplicates of 1 disc
