Oh, cool. So I'm not that far off.

Thought it would be a little more than in 2006...

I've moved on since my original post. Now it's like so:

Approx 1250 computers including laptops and 50 Macs
Projector and whiteboard in every room so about 90 of each not to mention visualisers and other such stuff.
About 25 physical servers, five of which are in a VMware farm hosting about 20 guests.
    2100 students, about 300 staff
Team of six in IT, the manager, senior engineer, engineer (me) and three techs.

    Here we have:

    500 PCs
    120 iMacs
30 Staff Laptops (but very little work required on these)
    10 Servers
    60 Projectors
    60 IWB

    1200 Students - 80% incompetant
    200 Staff (including Admin) - 99% incompetant.

2 of us Techs sitting in a tiny office while a single admin lady gets an office twice the size. Its mad to think if it was a 1:40 ratio we should have 15 of us! We are always busy but I reckon any more than 4 and we would be bored.

    9 servers (1 mac and 2 virtual)
    80 staff laptops

countless kids laptops which get brought in and the head asks us to take a look at them.
    850 pupils including 6th form
    100 staff (none IT literate)
    countless projectors, whiteboards and printers.
    6 DVR's for CCTV
    1 Server for door access
anything else that has a plug or a screen on.
