If it makes you feel better I failed on of my tests for stalling at lights and holding up traffic. Someone in Manchester failed because they splashed someone.

I failed my first attempt when turning back into the test center at the end of the test. Gutted!

Breezed through it 2nd time round though. Best drivers pass 2nd time.

The roundabout was just outside the test centre.. apparently i was holding people up.

2nd time lucky...

Only got 9 minors so should be a walk in the park (or is that a drive on the road?)

Haha. I love it when people claim the best drivers are 2nd time passers. If that was the case you would have passed first time - but I'll humor you!

My first fail was too hesitant at junctions. I had to drive down a road where you had to stop at every junction. Cars parked right up to each corner and a raised camber. All you could do was ease out, have a look and carry on.
Not right apparently, if I'd just pulled straight out I'd have failed also. No win.

Thats what my wife just said - and I feel is the real reason I failed

the DSA could be a Guild worthy of a mention in a Terry Pratchett novel..

Argh bad luck man.

I failed first time for something stupid. I was reversing round a corner when a car came round another corner further up the road, so I waited for it to go by. Apparently I could have 'nipped round in time"

Second time I pulled out from a 30mph road to a 60mph road but there were no signs to tell you. I was driving too slow. When I pointed out the sign thing, I should have "Been able to tell by the distance of the lamp posts" I mean, technically true but still

Third time was a breeze. Except when I realised I had passed (no marks on sheet!) I relaxed and took the final corner into test centre with the palm of one hand spinning the wheel round and hand on the gear stick. Got a serious lecture from the examiner on that one. Still passed me though,

There lucky FN as that is Driving without due care a bit more serious than failing your driving test.

Hard Luck mate,

I passed first time but I was lucky I had a brilliant examiner who was feeling nice.

I personally think that failing you for waiting too long is pathetic, I got two minors on my test for hesitating at a large roundabout, but then you can never be 100% sure what oncoming drivers are doing, best be safe than shoot off in a flurry of smoke and squeels!

Good luck next time -- The only thing that can teach you not to hesitate is experience, so get some good driving in!

Same for me... Held up the same car twice apparently... passed second time tho.
