sms reset message

There is a message that phone operator can send to your phone and it syncs your phone and there servers so it knows what phone you got etc etc

Can anyone remember the correct name for it.

Yes. Have a look on your network's website under the help section - eg. for O2 it's here: O2 Mobile Phone Settings

No this message didn't send any settings was from orange and it just made sure that server on oranges end knew what phone you had got and stuff..
