It probably just shows how old and sad I am but here's a quiz on the BBC site about computers through the years:

7/10 - and one of those was me never seeing an IBM portable..but I do remember the original Compaq heavy ones...heh.

They didn't mention the IBM 5100/5150!! Sacriledge!

(I still know of a school with a Commodore PET )

9/10 - Got the IBM/Compaq portable question wrong Still the only one I had to guess at, had a 50/50 chance of getting it right

I remember my Dad bringing home a Commodore PET from work so he could work at home... oh those C30 tapes!

I also remember my other half having to lug one of those IBM 'portables' across London to work... They were flippin' heavy!
