Default Edugeek North Conference Today 19th April 2006

Good to go back up north to Rochdale, just 9 miles from where I was born.

Some excellent information and exchanges of ideas but like Peter Ford I'm a teacher not a techie so I hope Ric Charlton won't be offended by the following skit, written as if by a nine year old.

What I did at the Edugeek North Conference Today

A right tall man stood up at the front and talked a bit quiet. He said something about thin and fat computers. I thought why did you look at me when you said fat computers? It's not fair that.

Then he sat down and showed us how he can do loads of windows on a computer, When he said he'd nearly finished everyone cheered. Well I didn't because all I could see was another window and all it said was Ready!

Some men asked him some right tricky questions and the tall man talked a bit quiet again and the other men nodded wisely. One of the men said your microphone's switched off so the tall man fiddled with it and a wise man said that's better but I couldn tell the difference.

Oh and the tall man said he didn't like walking and that's why he liked his thin computer. He said he was lazy and laughed. I thought his laugh was right nervous.

We had sandwiches and pop for us dinners. And I didn't have any cake because the tall man was looking at me again in the dining room. I love cake an' all.

Love Mary Anne aged 9

No problem, Ric, just let me know if and when you do it.

Best wishes
