original emacs and imacs - what to do?

I've got about 10-20 old imacs (G3 400Mhz) and emacs (?) any thoughts on anything i can do with them before they end up just being taken away and destroyed.

Someone here reckons they'll be worth money either now or in the future, what's everyone's thoughts/suggestions?

I would think they might go up in value in a few years, not by thousands. But we once sold an old Acorn on ebay for £220, and an old Acorn User Guide and Windows 3.1 disk for £60.

Put them on Ebay for £200, they will sell like hot cakes.

If they don't sell on ebay and you end up at the point you'd give them away rather than chuck them, I'm sure our music dept would buy me a pint if I collected a few!

ebay or freecycle them - you'll have people biting your hand off if you choose the latter

Some say vi is a better alternative than emacs, and imac is great for hair removal

Seriously if you are chucking em away we will have them for a primary school that is wanting some macs for use in nursery / reception. No budget but will come and collect .... go on you know it makes sense

Hey, I had my cap out first :P Freecycle is definitely a good option too, given a fair bit of our old old kit away on there.
