Now, can we find another 100 members before Wednesday so that we can announce our 900th member at the conference?![]()

I thought you were going to be happy with 800 by wednesday?
*sheesh, some people!*
I thought we needed 1000+ members to be "number one"![]()

Nope ... not interesting in merging, takeover, invasion or anything else like that ...
There is always room for more than one group like this ... there always has been a variety of groups looking at slightly different thing.
ICTTechnician.com has a strong regular membership (in fact it shares a number of members with here and many other forums / mailing lists, as do we) and I would say that most of the threads over there are about fixing things.
Over here we tend to have a balance between fixing things and giving advice or sharing best practice (heck ... that's what the conferences and workshops are about after all)
There are other places that just do best practice ... some places specialise just in Windows, others open source, others do Macs ...
There will *never* be a one-stop shop for everything ... and if there was it would probably be bought my a major company and then ruined.
There are other differences between EduGeek and other groups too ... and rather than having a go at other groups most people here would rather just celebrate our successes.
Anyway ... any group taht has me in it is automatically number one.
erm ... that makes a hell of a lot of places number on and one of them is microsoft.public.frontpage.client ... damn ... that arguement is up in smoke then!
