Rep Power: 12 | OK, I'll bring my digi camera in tomorrow and take a snap of my two rooms. One's my office and the other is the server room. |

![]() | In our server room/office we have two parts. Once side where the server rack is to with AC so we don't get hot from the servers and the other side where it is full of boxes and computers. Looks like all ICT support staff offices should look like Ross |

![]() | The new server room is nearly there! The new air con went in today and the dividing wall between the two old toilets was removed at the weekend. The 50A feed has also been run for the new UPS and my temporary connection will be in this week When the new lino is down and the walls are painted I will post a pic. BTW - there's also a Fujitsu_Siemens server to go in the rack (which contains 10 Sun servers, a Tanberg autoload, an EMC SAN, 2 Belkin KVMs and one of the biggest APC UPSs you could ever imagine) and there will also be a Dell Powedge going in the server room Anyone jealous yet? |

And when you say sun servers ... are you talking e10000s or ultra 2s?

The APC rack looks shit hot though and the quality is superb (especially for the relatively low price). My servers are Sun Fire V20z (single and dual Opterons - the Citrix servers have 4GB RAM!)
