What am i doing wrong.
right got my video, which plays fine if i play it on my pc. Burnt it onto a DVD-R using Nero. Burn completed with no errors, go to play it on my DVD player it plays but the image is disorted with those green/pink squares like when your watching a streaming video.
Any ideas how to stop this?
Thanks

21st September 2008, 07:56 AM #3 dvd player / video file ?
The video file(s) is it a divx or xvid type of file that you are trying to play on a dvd player that supports divx / xvid codecs or is the video file(s) converted into a dvd format and then burnt to the dvd-r ?
Also what file type(s) is the video file(s) ?

21st September 2008, 10:56 AM #4 How long is the video? It could have transferred at a low data rate to fit on the disk.

21st September 2008, 11:44 AM #5 Hi,
It's an AVI, 687mb so should fit onto a DVD-R and i'm guessing Nero does all the conversion.
Will try a slower speed, didnt consider that.

22nd September 2008, 11:18 AM #6 You really need to convert it using Nero Vision and then burn the DVD to be sure of it working nicely in standard DVD players

22nd September 2008, 01:54 PM #10 I would convert the .avi to mpeg2/vob outside of the burning software, then you can check it is properly DVD compliant.
