Sophos updating seems to have been down for 24 hours plus now. Anyone else notice this? I spoke to them this morning and it came up as a server problem.

By updated do u mean the virus definitions? what version do you currently have ?

I had noticed my home PC wasn't updating tonight, here's what it says. The PC has been on since about 17:00 tonight. I'm sure it was on last night as well (memory not too good this week, it's been a blur!!)
Bit worrying if it's been down that long

Ok i dont know if you guys are aware of this, but this something we found out in may here when we noticed this:
Hope that helpsAs of May 2008 Sophos antivirus no longer issue updates for version 7.3.3 and below. If you are using version 7.3.3 or below you may find your virus definitions out of date.
After speaking to many schools, this forced them to upgrade to version 7.5.1 “endpoint” earlier than they expected. the majority schools had planned to roll out the upgrade during the summer holiday.
Sophos failed to inform any customers about this issue leaving many schools unprotected & vulnerable.

Thank the replies folks.
Yep that seems to be the problem. Will see on Monday if it's been resolved I suppose.
Additionally, I have recently set up the latest version of Sophos on some new workstations only to find that even logging on with Admin powers I'm not able to access the Sophos Control - insufficient rights or some such message comes up?
