    Just to clarify in case anyone is not clear, in scientific notation it means 10 raised to the power of the number after the e.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_notation

    e+04 = 10^4 = 10,000

    so 2.9 e+04 = 2.9 x 10,000 = 29,000
