I'm not much of a blogger but some friends and family have asked if i'll do one while i'm traveling so i thought i'd look into it. I can't find any blogging tools on Facebook i was hoping they would provide something as this is where i'll probably share some photos.
Any recommendations?

4th August 2008, 05:27 PM #3 You can setup your own blog on http://www.blogger.com/
Or if you have your own webspace you can make your own using wordpress WordPress › Blog Tool and Weblog Platform

4th August 2008, 06:44 PM #6 I would recommend WordPress.com Get a Free Blog Here over Blogger personally. You can host with them, or pull the software down and host it yourself.

4th August 2008, 07:14 PM #8 blogger is pretty good and easy to use.
but by far the easiest solution I have seen is Posterous. Totally different to other blogging platforms you don't even need to sign up for an account all you have to do is email the stuff you want to post to post@posterous.com, words, pictures, music etc and they will do the rest.
Posterous - The place to post everything. Just email us. Dead simple blog by email.

4th August 2008, 07:20 PM #9 @ Edu-Tech: Are Edugeek blogs only viewable to members? I'm not sure the good lady will want our blog on Edugeek mind
but i'll post a link to wherever it ends up in case you all feel nosey.

4th August 2008, 07:44 PM #10 I must admit that I should use my EduGeek blog but it is soooooooo easy to use Blogger. Those wonderful people at Google have added all sorts of features such as email to blog YouTube and Picasa integration, etc., etc. One of my recent finds is the iGoogle widget-ey thing that allows you to blog straight from iGoogle.

Affirmative. Of course if you're going to upload photos, you'll need to get them off the camera somehow, but they're uploaded through the web interface too.

22nd April 2009, 11:57 AM #13 I've got a blog here: Virtualization Spotlight
Wordpress is a great platform to blog on as long as you host it yourself and forego the freebie service they offer.

22nd April 2009, 12:00 PM #14 Personally I much prefer Microsoft's Spaces for simple blogging, and as a site in general over facebook. Worth a look.
