    6 days and counting

I remember thinking when I proposed that 715 days was a long time and it was going to be ages until the BIG day arrived...

Well, somehow we're down to single digits and I've calculating the time left down to the minute... and no, don't ask it's scary...

Strange thing is though, every bloke you meet who happens to find out you're getting wed, asks why on earth you're doing it or looks at you in horror.. The women look all dreamy eyed and talk about the romance, etc... and the really strange thing is that in most cases a lot of the blokes and women are actually married to each other. Really makes you wonder if the whole Mars/Venus thing isn't entirely too accurate

    Ah well... wish me luck...

    Cheers Kmount.

In other news I'm currently trying hard to control my sides as the confetti.co.uk "Weekly to do list reminder" has just landed in my mail box...

I get the impression we didn't keep the list up to date as this is the first item..

    - Buy the engagement ring - if you haven't already!
... Damn, I knew I mean't to do something... It just gets better from there on in

Good luck! I feel like we should maybe have got together and gotten you a wedding present... Scratch that, I don't know exactly what a committee of geeks would get a person for a wedding present, but I'm sure it'd be pretty odd...

Congrats mate, single guy's that say that just haven't found the one that they want to settle down with, us guy's that are married would never say anything like that for fear of being beaten up (I bet that they don't say that within ear-shot of their other half)

    Thanks all...

@dhicks.. I think it probably best you didn't get me any new toys... As it is I'm being threatened with all manner of dire physical, emotional and mental tortures if I even think of looking at a net cafe, much less taking any gadgets with me like phone, laptop, etc...

... I think I'll bear the limitation as best I can...

    Thanks for the well-wishing...

Last couple of days to run around and sort the remainder of bits to be done.. If the cat would come home (not been seen by neighbours for 2 days!) that would help though..

Charlie now back... fast asleep as are the rest...

Now to hope the weather is getting the rain out of the way for tomorrows sunny day!.. If you don't have your fingers crossed, cross 'em now... but not both hands, that's just overkill

Now to check I have everything to take down to the venue for the 5 billionth time...
