    Job Description - Senior Technician/Deputy Network Manager

    Before I get TUPE'd over to RM, I have been told by SLT that my JD will be reviewed and updated to match what I currently do in my day to day job. Seeing as there are only 2 of us, myself and the NM. I wanted to try and boost it to the level of Senior Technician or even Deputy NM.

    So anyway, I'm going to be looking at my JD and making proposed changes as I see fit. However, can someone please post some example job descriptions for Senior Technician and/or Deputy Network Manager so that I can see exactly what changes I should make.

    You really want to put as many responsibilities in there as posible. Include such things that are not covered by the managed service, such as Intranet webmaster or VLE manager.

    If you are the only technician then I cant see you getting away with senior technician.
