    struggling to find a cable..

Im looking to find a cable that will go from the motherboard socket for a system fan to a 4 pin molex plug. All i can find are 3 pin motherboard fan cables.. Anyone know if such a thing exists??

    1) Resize those pics, they are HUGE
    2) I seriously doubt the fan header was designed provide enough power to a device that needs a molex connector.

What exactly do you want to power from it?

Assuming all you're trying to do is run a 'fan' which is currently a molex from the mainboard, you might be able to use this...

    ebay link..

It might need some 'reverse' engineering...

Fans with molex connectors (like 120mm) have them because they run a serious risk of frying the on board fan header! :P

Ok, so its probably just better to power it straight from the psu then with just the molex. Cheers. Didnt really think about it drawing too much power from the mobo.

The forum resizes images automatically does it not?
