    I have audiograbber up and running with LAME and i'm away. I might take a look at some of the other suggestions when i get time and get my Ubuntu box running again.

    Audio grabber is what I used to use and is pretty good as well.
    Gets my vote too, quick, easy, has cddb access and just works with minimal foot print.

    Besides, it looks like the days of downloading illegal mp3s may soon be over. Long live old school mp3 swapping in the playground!

    Such a shame as well, i buy alot of music and like to have a good listen first. If i don't like it i don't keep it.
