e-messenger sites, and where do students go to find them?

I am having a clampdown on e-messenger access at school and came across this while trawling the www :

    http://www.splatt.com.au/blog/archiv...b_messeng.html

It seems to be full of students complaining about how good a job we are doing in schools blocking e-messenger, but more importantly they go on to list the sites they are using and the techniques they have been using to try and get round our efforts to block them.

Has anyone else come across any other similar sites?

That's one helluva find (she says, blocking those listed sites as she types :-D)

If I can think of any more, I'll share, but this looks a fairly comprehensive list...

Added to the list as well.

BTW - has anyone seen a php chat script accessed from their network? It looks pretty generic and doesn't use a database (that I can see), quite a few kids have tried hosting it on their ISP's homepages (well, until we block the domain  ).

block Meeb.com, too if it's not on the list (started reading it, then realised how tiny the scroll bar was... )

    Hi

We have noticed a huge increase in e-messenger, so far our database is over 150+ addresses that we know of and still finding them

You need to be blocking keywords and phrases. Your never going to keep on top of a URL list even with a subscription to a list.

I see that there are a few posts down the bottom from "adults" and SysAdmins. How many are from here?
