    Talking TIP... Use no nails

The buggers keep punching the face plates through.

I've tried everything, then the site manager suggested I use 'no nails'

after a very long think (2 seconds) I decided yeh ok will give it a bash..

Needs a good 24 hours to dry rock hard, but it works... I've not had any more punched though since.

any way just thought I would share

What happens if you need to fix the faceplace or re-wire it? Or are these faceplates on PCs and not the network type?

That will be a good fall back we've taken to bolting metal plates across the entire panel section at the front of the desktoptower to stop them reaching in and removing ram etc.. (whilst running!) they must be mad!

I use it for everything - anything that comes off the PC gets stuck back on with it - especially the power buttons that break after such long use.

The best use I've found so far is to stick the wireless switch on some laptops permanently on!

I get things shoved through the case vents into the CPU and PSU fans
We epoxy the 110/230v switch to 230v - got a shock off one of them (both the one and the electric one) arm was numb for an hour

Our D&T tech started using left overs from the plastics lessons where the fascias had been punched through - but will recommend the no more nails definately!

When we order our machines we usually ask for all that stuff to be glued in glue-gun style! seems to do the job... I like the idea of nomore nails though :P
