    CV Advice

    Hi all,

I am refreshing my CV - as I am going to apply for some jobs. I have just completed my first year as an IT Technician.

I have the following headings on my cv:
    PERSONAL DETAILS
    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
    WORK EXPERIENCE
    ACHIEVEMENTS AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES
    REFEREES

    work experience part.......

How do you layout the work experience out? do you write a paragraph of what you've done in this job or do you bullet point your experience?

    e.g.
    Example High School - London
    IT Technician
My role within this position was maintaing the schools Windows based Network, consisting of 8 Servers, 400 machines and 80 Laptops. First line support to over etc.

    OR

    Example High School - London
    IT Technician
    - Windows Server 2003
    - Exchange 2003
    - Domain Administration
    - Support to 700 users
    etc

Or possibly a screen shot of their layout minus any personal data would be even better!

I would use a little bit of both. I would specify number of clients because its irrelevant in my opinion.

Also don’t do anymore than 2 pages and use and easy to read font on paper for example Times New Roman.
