14th June 2008, 01:38 PM #1 What mobile phone?
I've never been particularly worried about what phone I use. In fact, whenever the kids bring in their old phones, I usually pick the best looking one and swap it with mine. I've had a Nokia 3310 for a while now but I need a phone that is unlocked for when we go to South Africa in the summer holidays. My wife also has a 3310 which she complains is too bulky so I thought rather than pay to get mine unlocked I could get her something it little smaller on Ebay that is already unlocked. I don't want to pay much more than £25 if I can help it.
Any recommendations please?

14th June 2008, 06:36 PM #3 Wow, 3310, man that is old!
laserblazer, download the WorldUnlock Calculator it can unlock most old Nokia's for free. I have unlocked many 3310 (back in the day now!) using it.
However, if you want something different, I have a brand new Nokia 2610 sitting at home. I brought it on a 12 months free contract for my wife but she has a flashy G600 Pink so has never used it. You can have it for £20 if you want...

16th June 2008, 11:50 AM #4 Seems the Motorola F3 doesn't have a car charger facility. Zoom7000, thanks for the unlocker, seems to have done the trick
I've sent you a PM about the phone.

They were £19.99 on O2, plus £10 off if you traded in an old phone. They also included £10 of calls. So effectively, they cost -£0.01. We used the free calls to phone relatives at Christmas and then put in our Orange SIMS.
