The jobs you just hate.

My real pet hate are people who don’t try. I don’t care how bad someone is at computer use as long as they try. But it really bugs me when someone is able to do something but doesn’t bother to try and just shouts for help.

Walking to the far side of the school because you've been informed that a computer wont boot only to find the F***ing teacher has her USB pen in and the PC is trying it's best to boot from that.

It could be said that that is your fault - you should set c: as first boot device in BIOS. I'm not sure I like the idea of kids being able to bring in bootable sticks and CDs and using them to either trash the system or get around security measures..

I can't think of anything I really dislike doing. If I had to say something then probably cleaning projectors. It's not really that I dislike doing it, it's just not one of the easiest things to do.

I am a little board and I can’t sleep because its warm tonight so I thought I would post this.

What jobs do you hate doing at work?

I hate sorting out Printer & Projectors, anything else I don’t mind doing.

if you're bored and can't sleep try counting sheep lol

- Teachers who cant get their laptops running on projectors
- People rushing me to get certain software installed then don't use it for 6 months, then complain it doesn't work because its out of date again

Does my nut in too !! 300 laptops later and 9 out of 10 times its oh the key just happened to ping off or it flew off as I pressed it.

Which I doubt very much as i can press the keys pretty danged hard and they never ping off, Ive had to literally lever the keys off with a screw driver to make em go flying.

This is on Dell D520 Latitude laptops btw - at least in my case.

I agree with that one! I'm still missing a couple of keys on my laptop because they broke when I was trying to reattach them. A few swear words were said that night.
