6th June 2008, 10:27 AM #1 Can someone do me a favour?
We've got some job vacancies uploaded to our website, and I'm having calls about "people can't download them" and "they're corrupt".
Madeley Academy Sports College
Is the address, and there are 3 zips on there. From my end, they seem fine. On the server, they seem fine too. Extracted, they're fine...yet people are having issues. Since all of our traffic runs through a netcache, I can't guarantee I'm not seeing cached copies..can anyone out there try to download/extract them and see if they have issues?
Many thanks...

6th June 2008, 10:31 AM #2 Seem ok to me. I didn't save them, just opened them. All files within the zip opened fine.
EDIT: Tell a lie. In the Competition Manager zip there seems to be 2 copies of the person spec. If you open one as well as the other it will fail to open. Could be this they are getting confused about?

6th June 2008, 10:46 AM #11 All fine here too, using XP SP2, Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and Word 2003 SP3.
As well as the Adobe Plugin I would recommend you place a link to Word Viewer 2003. It does help a lot of people.

6th June 2008, 11:03 AM #13 Nice bit of applicant filtering methinks!
If they can't open it, you really don't want to have to support them at school!

6th June 2008, 11:06 AM #14 Our grid filter classifies your site as gambling, that'd certainly cause a problem for applicants!
