Just wondering what outlook people had from their server room window (providing they have one).

Vertical Blinds!
But behind them is a lovely view of the street below.
It's great first thing in the morning as I get to see all the irate parents blaring their car horns at each other as they park on the yellow zig zags. Almost makes it worth turning up in the morning!![]()
We have the Science block, and a bit further on houses, a bit dull really.
blinds and bars across the view, but it looks down onto the tennis courts.
You have a window in your server rooms....... wow, if only maybe it would be a bit lighter in there
I feel rather bad for bringing this topic up. I have a view of fields then the Irish sea (we are an Island off the South Coast of Cumbria)

Hi, its Walney island
Servers look south out over the rooftops of the school (they seem to enjoy it), my office next door looks east over the city and north sea (when it's not foggy!)
After the blackout blind I can see a grassy quadrant where the greenhouse is. It's about the only open space in the school that's not covered in weeds three feet high. Mind you I can only see this since they've recently cut down the rather bushy and overgrown shrubbery that used to cover the window completely. One year the science team left their staff-room windows open a crack over the summer holidays and 6 weeks later the office looked like a scene from Jumanji

If i crane my neck to one side i can just about see daylight from a window in the corridor outside our office.
Otherwise its just pastle green painted walls.
What is good is the view outside of the foothills of the Pennines.
Our office windows outlook the Y9 play-field, and the main administration buildings. Its a lovely sunny office.
Our server room outlooks our hidden courtyard, complete with Table, chairs, umbrella, BBQ, and grapevine.
Its a sun-trap.
