For the people commenting on cremation, i'm surprised no-one has suggested: Bloodhound Gang's "Fire Water Burn" :P

My choice would have to be "Angel's Son" by Sevendust

I've thought of a song which I quite like although it's old and I'm young so I'm not sure that is a good thing.

    Tracy Chapman - Fast Car

Not really a funeral type song though.

Not decided for sure yet (not planning to need it for a while), but I'm tempted by "Too Old To Rock & Roll" by Jethro Tull.

Oh you're never too old to Rock & Roll
if you're too young to die

    YouTube - She Amazed Me

She amazed me, makes no sense what so ever, much like my life and the universe in general. I can think of nothing more suitable.

She spinned round and round with a frog in her ear
Whispering fountains and rocks she couldn't hear.

    Perfect.

So many songs, maybe instead of words, I'll just have music

    I'd quite like:
    Queen-Breakthru
    and
    YouTube - Queen-It's A Hard Life
    with the best one being:
YouTube - Queen-No One But You

(sorry for those who are not Queen fans but I am)
The Living Years - Mike and the Mechanics this is also a good one I still ooze a little tear when i listen to it around the time of close friends and familys deaths.

Oh and then this one:Queen-Who Wants to Live Forever I forgot about that one, theres so many that I want, hence why I don't want words i just want a Queen concert really hehe

Ive seen these type of threads come up a few times on various forums and people all tend to have the same few humourous suggestions. If any of you actually request those, fair play but I suspect the majority wont

Every sad song I know has been used too much and I wouldnt want to have some generic funeral so unless I come across a really personal song before I die Ill just suggest some drum and bass to be played...only because I doubt many people have done that
