How much annual leave do you get, and how many years service have you done?
I get a miserable 22 days annual leave, for 2.5 years service. I used to get 30 days plus flexitime when I worked in industry, and I could take holiday whenever I liked.
Brian

i get 22 days and what been in lea for 3 years...
but then i somone i know there husband works for a national credit card company and they can buy extra weeks up to certain amount which is taken out of their annual salery...
russ

25 days, up to 15 of which can be in term-time, and I have the option to have overtime as time off in leiu (mainly because I cant claim overtime now ... you don't get perks as manglement, you lose them!)
Anyhting extra is on negotiation with the Head ... but he is a very nice chap and he has yet to say no ... even to the point of giving me more time to go to things like BETT.
20 Days, been here for over 2.5 years, will get more after 5. Normally carry a day or two forward each year.
Doesn't it also depend on when you can take your holidays? My NM swears he gets 21 days a year, but can take those 21 days at any time during the year, termtime or otherwise (which is why he's booked a month off during March/April to go to India), whereas I get 26 days, but can only take them in school holidays, unless it's the odd day in termtime or for a special reason (like moving house, etc).
Looks like I'm quite lucky. I get 27 days + all bank holidays. The only downside is that I have to take them in the school hols.
I get 26 days, but am allowed to carry as many days over as i want. As long as the Head gives the ok on it of course. That left me with a total of 33 days to take this year.
At the moment all holidays have to be taken during school holidays but that will soon be changing i hope.
20 days until 5year service then increase to 25
I get 27 with 5 1/2 years service here. The school prefers you to take your holidays during term time, but will be able to get off during school time if needs be.
I've managed to get time off in term time as I suscessfully argued that they didn't want network downtime in the school day (and exam results day was a far better option). I also get 23 days basic plus 5 privalidge days (for bank hoildays ?) and 2 extra days for long service (6 years) so I guess I luck. Having said that for the last 3 years I haven't been able to take all my hoilday and if they did toil or overtime.. I only have to be in work 4 days a week. If you want to increase your entitlement become a union rep (+5 days)or school governor (+5 days)our burser is and with long service she is off all summer just like the teachers. which great apart from if a company wants their bills paid
I get 27 days (used to 22 until I had done my 5 years) plus bank holidays and I can take time off during term time![]()
25 days [20 + 5 for +5 years] plus 2 because we lost 2 days BH at some point, plus Bank Holidays.
We get to carry days over by arrangement with the Head - and same for taking leave term time.

[I'm a sch governor & union rep yet I get none for those! - hmmm]
2 weeks. another reason i dislike schools - or rather working in them.
23 plus 2 for 5+ years and 5 additional days - total of 30 plus bank holidays. These are vaild from april to june - 15 months. As long as we arrange aduqate cover we can take them whenever at the min (under review). Given a tech is busiest in hols I've never seen sence in forcing them to have hols off. I'll get another 1 day if I make it to 10 years service
We also can work overtime and take the time in leiu of 2 staff INSETS at xmas.
30 days plus bank holidays. Been in this school for nearly 4 years.
Can take up to 5 continuous days in term time if i want, odd days for log weekends are no problem. They prefer me to take hols in term time though.
