I understand that all schools in the Northamptonshire area are to put multiple policy's like "Data Protection Act", "Acceptable Use of the VLE", "Privacy Policy" etc...
Just wondering if anyone else has done this yet and would'nt mind sharing their ideas? Have you bundle'd it all on one page or linked to each individual page from the home page of the VLE?
I'm about to start making one, but I assume most schools would need the almost identical information for visitors?
My collegue that went on the training was told about all of this and that something was in the pipeline. So im wondering if its worth making my own now or waiting around untill someone from the county gives us something to put up. I figured that if anyone is going to get it first, it'd be us on edugeek
Erm ... yes ... erm ... if you want to take part in one of the groups looking at particular policies in Northants please let me know. I'm sending out emails tomorrow for those that have been kind enough to volunteer.
Being honest whatever we produce together will be shared on here too ... pop over to the edugeek wiki to have a look at some of the stuff that is already there. If you have any ideas for other policies that I didn't mention then feel free to suggest some.
For those who are also interested I have stripped out what we have at my school and passed it onto 3 other Northants schools for comparison against what they already have and to try and get some semblance of a set of policies usable by most schools.
I have attached a copy of these and if anyone is willing to give feedback it would be appreciated.
