    Could XP avoid the chop?

It's seems like it might if enough fuss is made. It would be very nice if they kept the business line going, i think Vista will end up ok for home but is largely unnecessary for business.

And I thought that was why they made Vista Business edition?? Nice Avatar by the way .

I believe in three years time you might rethink your suggestion.... They just keep making new OS all the time.....

What a handsome guy :-) at first glance it looks like i'm talking to myself

I'm running Vista business at the mo but i was meaning that i'd prefer they kept XP Pro going for longer as Vista really isn't ready for large scale role out IMHO, i've chatted with people in the middle of >10000 deployments and they could cry. By SP2 it will probably be fine but MS are looking to kill Vista ASAP i think and Vista SP3 will be called Windows 7.

It's mostly fine for home use though.
