About 20 out - some NUT members are working as is everyone else. We're open for selected year groups so not much difference for us.

They are about 10 - 15 members of the NUT here and the school is open for all students apart from Years 7 and 8. Most of the sixth form are out of school on a conference that day also.

whole school operating as normal here ...only a fraction of teachers are even members of the NUT
Think it might also be that our head, although a really nice guy, is just someone you wouldnt want to get on the bad side of...I cant imagine any teachers having the balls to strike

the primary school I support is striking, so thinking about spending the whole day there and not going to my secondary which will be open as normal.

Going to re-image all the computers in the primary school, aswell as check out a few problems that have been reported to me. Fun fun!

Just Y11 in tomorrow. About 1/3 of the staff are NUT, although a few of them have been seeing the head of ICT to try and change to NASUWT (he's the rep) recently.

I'm not affected as neither school is striking (few if any NUT)
The local high school my children attend is closed to year 9 (lowest year) but the rest are in. My two are years 10 and 12 so not very chuffed!
