dual xeon at 1400 sounds good - are they a "proper make"?

And where is that LCD KVM from? I haven't seen them for less than 800?

@wesleyw: If you speak to Stu at 1st Technologies, he sometimes has those KVMs very cheap (depends what he has come across lately).

I'm sure I paid closer to £1500 for my Tandberg LTO2 autoloader too - would have to check the invoice though.

I would also recommend trying to use RIS over Ghost - should save you a pretty penny.

I say RIS over ghost, and that price for the rackmount screen is good, spoke to the Dell lady at Bett about the cost of there's and it was something like that, and not bad, she said they would come out and demo some stuff to us, and they also said it would complement any other Dell kit we own, and goes well with Dell racks. At that point I quietly said, we are a HP place, and use Mills racks, so it would stick out, but nice kit, anyway my solution was far cheaper.

Ball Mouse - in junk box
Light up Laptop keyboard - £18 eBay
    15" TFT - in stores
    Rack shelf - £36 - Mills
Roller Drawer for keyboard and mouse - £75 - Mills
    Total Cost £129

Much cheaper, although you do need space to stand the 15" TFT up, which I have.
