    Yahoo! Slurp Spider
    Google Spider

    Who & What are they?? The username Yahoo! Slurp Spider is on many forum topics at one time.

    The term "search spider" not mean anything?
    Maybe terminology like that is old boy speak

    BTW all the results for the forums on google for the old site should just work anyway.

    Yes, I am aware of the redirection you are doing (btw, you need to deny search spiders from using your redirection otherwise they'll never update their indexes).

    They get a permanently moved header tag (301) to get them to update their listings
