    CCTV - webcam

I go on a course in 2 weeks time for an entire day.

I would like to set up a webcam or a digital blue camera in my office to record people coming in and rumaging through my stuff. Anyone know how to set it up to record from 7:30 - 5:00. I don't want it recording over 2 nights.

Also any ideas of where to hide it as we don't want people to know that we are watching.

This is because on the last 3 courses that i have been on our equipment/files have been gone through and we want to know who it is.

    Thanks

You want to get a lock! No but seriously are there legal implications for setting up a spy camera in a school? You should talk to your line manager to make it clear no one is to enter your office when you are not there.

you'd have to put a notice up saying there was cctv in there is all.

I got a camera from cpc, night vision, configuarble to run only some times, motion sensing and all from a in-built webpage. about 40 squids too.

I'll post a link as soon as CPCs bloody website wakes up....

I would use a piece of software called Digium. It can be configured to take pic's if motion is detected. Do a google search for it.

Regarding positioning the camera, I'd say grab an old book and cut a bunch of pages out, cut a hole in the spine and stick it behind that.
