Anyone got a link or something to some kind of tutorial?
Does anyone know how hard it would be to push a message to any Blue enabled phone saying words to the effectI know that some won't be BT enabled, and some will require passwords... But it could be fun to try!"This is a 'king theatre; turn your phone off NOW!"
Any pointers to legal methods would be welcome.

I once got bluetooth'd by an exhibition stand "Visit stand V34 and claim your free t-shirt" or some such. Thought that was quite clever.
Pretty easy. Make a contact saying that (or close as), scan for devices, send contact to device. Shouldn't need passcode as you aren't doing anything other than sharing info.
My old P900 had a great program for doing this automatically, scan and send a message to all devices. Was great fun. Can't find a similar app for Mobile deviceAm the cry.
Does anyone have any help guides or know any programs that can help aid in learning bt snarf?
ANY help would be much appreciated![]()
There used to be alot of adverts that would send you bluetooth messages. The sort that you have on the sides of bus shelters. However, IIRC there's now some sort of 'law' thats been passed thats made it so that the user has to do something before they get the message, rather than just walking past it. i.e. they have to consent to recieve a message or something like that
does any one know of any software then please? either for the pc or for a mobile phone?
I regularly 'audit' bluetooth devices nearby. I a laptop running Linux plus a cheap £10 bluetooth USB dongle to do this. While there are many tools to do this kind of thing on Linux I use 'BlueScanner' and 'BlueDiving' plus 'BTcrack' for the 'audtiing'.
thank you very much "GEOFF"![]()
sorry againbut, does anyone know any (forgot to say last time) WINDOWS snarfin programs?
