    The irony

    Data has not been working on my phone since 7:30 this morning. I checked down detector (Status overview | Down Detector) and this is what i got.

    It appears someone has cut a fibre cable killing data for t-mobile.

    Surely they have redundant fibre routes etc to avoid this?

    Apparently not. My 3G is back now. Though I don't understand why they couldn't notify the customers via text. Why oh why they don't have a web based Helpdesk where customers can submit tickets.

    It looks like at effected a limited amount of customers. They probably didn't want to send a text to everybody as they would loose face.
