I see the tagging has been turned on. Any guidelines?

Tags are simply keywords that describe the thread. If you go here:

http://www.edugeek.net/forums/tags.php

you can see what tags have been used so far. Clicking on one of the tags then lists all of the threads that are tagged with that particular keyword.

You could add your initials (in my case PWD) to the tag for each post you make, then it'd be easy to find all of the posts you have made without trawling back through the site. Combine that with a more related tag (i.e. PWD, Vista) and it'll be nice and quick to find an old post of yours.

There's no need to do that. The advanced search will find posts by member name.
