Disgusting that they want it so that everything is traceable to a person. I can understand some things, but everything is a joke.

Agreed, it is a very silly premise. I understand the aims of what they are trying to achieve, but all this would do would lead to more fraud of the new variety as this comes about.

What there should be is more naming and shaming and shopping of online illegal activities. Note that it is illegal activities, not for the expression of free speech that falls within the legal boundaries of UK law, which is where this ends up crossing the line.

You should have started a poll mate. Will they launch it with:

    - It stops terrorism!
    - It's for the children! Won't someone think of the children?????????
    - It'll stop paedophiles!

We haven't had number 2 for a bit so maybe it'll be that.

Part of me thinks that they are still trying to find ways to avoid another London 2011, where it's believe that gangs used social media to organise the riots. Could be me miss reading this and just the goverment trying to tie down the internet.

What's the point of more fibre when ISPs are imposing usage caps?

Group of old men who have more money than sense make recommendations about technology that they know nothing about. The repercussions would be chilling to say the least.

So, like everything else the government recommends. What is most chilling when you think about it is, anyone can run for an MP seat, which ultimately could lead to that individual becoming a cabinet minister or even PM... and make decisions on everything from going to war to commissioning a law like this to agreeing to a nuclear reactor in central London.... What makes such individuals qualified to make such decisions, or even if they are advised to agree to it?
